541 km. Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra / Rockenbauer South Transdanubia Blue Tour, Hungarian section of E7
The Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra is part of the trilogy of Blue Trails. The most famous is the Országos Kéktúra in the North of Hungary. Refer to this path for practical information on walking the Blue Trails in Hungary.
This Blue Trail covers the West of Hungary and kicks off from the same mountain - Írott-kő – where National Blue Trail starts. The path was realised in 1974. It keeps mostly to the hill ranges in the South-west of the country. The end of the trail is in Szekszárd where you can fill up with the best Kékfrankos red whines Hungary has to offer. From here you may continue through the great plains of Hungary via the Alföldi Kéktúra / Great Plain Blue Tour.
The trail is incorporated into the European Path E7.
