Beschreibung

Texas is the largest state, but for Alaska. Hiking possibilities are a bit limited, though.

A good choice is the Big Bend National Park, bordering on Mexico in a bend of the Rio Grande. Some hiking is possible in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park with mountains, canyons and desert.

Longest trail is the Lone Star Trail, in the Sam Houston National Forest.
